KILNSOUND — SEOUL

Fired,
not designed.

It listens to your track, then fires a new effect chain around it — the way a Korean kiln fires porcelain. You never quite know what comes out. That's the point.

Early Access includes 1.0 and lifetime updates.

BAKING THE SOUND

Raw audio goes in.
A fired sound comes out.

A kiln is a tool of controlled chance. So is this one.

01 — LISTEN

It hears your track

Drop KILN on anything. On-device AI recognises what's playing — no cloud, no account, no latency.

02 — FIRE

One press, one firing

Eleven effects arrange themselves around what it heard. Chaos sets how daring the firing gets.

03 — REFINE

Keep the accident

Lock what you love, re-fire the rest. History and A/B until the accident becomes a sound.

UNDER THE GLAZE

Minimal face. Serious machinery.

One button on the surface. A full effects workstation underneath.

AI

On-device listening

The neural network lives inside the plugin. Your audio never leaves your machine.

DSP

Eleven-effect chain

EQ to reverb, every switch click-free — nothing pops, jumps, or shouts.

GAIN

Auto gain staging

Any input is lifted to its sweet spot, then restored. Quiet or hot, the character stays.

CRAFT

Lock · History · A/B

Freeze what you love. Recall five firings. Swap two states while the loop plays.

CHANCE

Chaos control

From studio-typical to gloriously wrong, on one dial.

TOUCH

No menus, no pages

Scroll to adjust. Hold for knobs. Press R to fire again.

FROM THE KILN

Four firings, sixteen vessels.

Sixteen presets, named the way potters name their work. Each bank loads in its own finish.

백자

BAEKJA

Transparent space — clean reverbs and air, for vocals and keys.

옹기

ONGGI

Warm density — saturation and glue, for anything that needs weight.

분청

BUNCHEONG

Scraped texture — lo-fi grit, deliberately rough.

CHIL

Dark gloss — deep modulation in lacquer black.

THREE FIRINGS OF THE BODY

Pick your ceramic.

Click a finish — the plugin above changes with it. The flame stays constant in every body.

In the plugin it's hidden where it should be — click the RB-01 engraving.

QUESTIONS

Before you fire.

What do I need to run KILN?
A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) and any AU or VST3 host — Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One. Intel Mac and Windows builds are on the roadmap; Early Access buyers get them the day they ship.
Does the AI send my audio anywhere?
No. The listening model runs entirely inside the plugin, on your machine. No account, no cloud, no telemetry — your audio never leaves your computer.
What does "Early Access" mean?
KILN is v0.9 — fully working, actively fired. Buy once now at the Early Access price and you get 1.0 and every update after it, forever. The price goes up at 1.0; early buyers never pay again.
macOS says the installer is from an unidentified developer.
The Early Access build isn't notarized by Apple yet. If macOS blocks the installer: System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → "Open Anyway". A notarized installer ships with 1.0. The plugin itself is prepared by the installer so your DAW loads it without warnings.
How does installation work?
Open the DMG, double-click the installer, enter your password. AU and VST3 are placed automatically and your preset folder is created at Documents/KILN/Presets. Restart your DAW and rescan.
What if it's not for me?
Full refund within 14 days, no questions asked — handled by our payment partner Lemon Squeezy.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Yes — your license covers your personal machines (studio and laptop both fine).
Is there more coming from the workshop?
The kiln stays hot. Early Access buyers hear about new firings first.
